Farhi Fine Art are a family-run, specialist art consultancy specialising in Post-War and Contemporary art. We supply the private retail sector as well as established and novice art collectors around the world.

Director Paul Farhi leads our team. Paul’s passion for art was ignited at a very early age after visiting the home of a relative who was an avid art collector. They bought and sold works by Laurence Lowry, Alfred Munnings, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. Paul purchased his first artwork at the age of 17 – a Peter Lanyon seascape. Not before long, Paul cemented his reputation as a serious collector of fine art. After many successful years of investing in works, both for himself and others, Paul set up his art consultancy: Farhi Fine Art.

At Farhi Fine Art we enjoy privileged access to a large number of Blue-Chip artists. We also have access to the estates of many leading established artists. This is a significant advantage that gives our clients the potential for even greater growth. Moreover, we have access to a very exciting cohort of talented emerging artists – those with the potential to become Blue-Chip artists.

Our Sotheby’s-trained art specialists have a combined experience of over 75 years. Their expertise and extensive network of contacts around the world help our clients navigate the complex Contemporary and Post-War Modern art market, aiding in making wise buying decisions. In short, we help our clients take the guesswork out of buying investment art.

We are known for being a dynamic and forward-thinking company, helping collectors and investors alike build exceptional collections that showcase the superlative works from periods we refer to as the “Now and Then” – respectively, Contemporary art and Post-War modern art.

Friends,

It is truly wonderful that collecting art is no longer seen as the preserve of the rich and powerful. Today, art collectors come from a broad spectrum of society.

I established Farhi Fine Art to help both the novice and the experienced art collector around the world purchase fine art at affordable prices, to give them the guidance they require to build their collections and, if they wish, to help them sell their artworks. 

I vividly remember the thrill of purchasing my very first piece of art – a striking Peter Lanyon seascape. I was 17 years old at the time. But my passion for art began much earlier than that. It started after visiting the home of one of my relatives, a collector of fine art and a supplier to many galleries around the world. I marvelled at my relative’s home, which was covered from floor to ceiling with the most arresting, mesmerising paintings and sculptures, including works by Laurence Lowry, Alfred Munnings, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. And I was hooked when my relative explained to me the enormous monetary value of each artwork.

I owe profound gratitude to my relative, who introduced me to art collecting and the significant benefits of investing in fine art, which you will have read about in this brochure. With my relative’s guidance, I developed a keen eye for fine art and gained access to an irreplaceable network of contacts around the world. 

Building up my first significant collection was a gradual, personally fulfilling and financially rewarding experience. I also revelled in helping family members and friends purchase fine art and, importantly, appreciate the power of art. Today, several of them have built up remarkable collections from across the spectrum of artistic movements. Their collections have brought them stunning financial rewards – serving as a great store of wealth – and deep aesthetic pleasure. My team and I are confident we can help you in the same way.
